Wow... Sahipsizler or (Azizah: cinta 6 hati) released on November 13 2024, is one of those series with a synopsis that doesn't really appeal to me. It combines family issues with infidelity and romance. Why is that? Because when I watched it, I felt bored, and my mind got confused when the three elements were mixed together, and the plot was usually predictable. But that’s the story when I’m watching an Indonesian film.
This is different; it's a foreign film (Turkish) with a plot that's hard to predict. And I think foreign cinema is more advanced than Indonesian cinema in this genre. Two things that always intrigue me are the very interesting plot and the constant suspense. Some other things that make this film interesting to watch are that it combines many genres, such as action, romance, family, and historical. This combination makes the drama feel more “alive” and less monotonous. Each episode seems to bring new surprises, making it difficult for viewers to stop watching.
Telling a heartwarming and resilient story, Azizah: Cinta 6 Hati follows the struggles of six siblings—Azize, Cemo, Zeliha, Fidan, Samet, and Balim—who suddenly lose both their parents in a horrific tragedy. Left orphaned at a young age, the six children must survive and stay united amidst the harshness of Istanbul. That is the initial summary of the story, but there is much more excitement to be shared.
For me, Sahipsizler is a drama that’s hard to miss because it always delivers surprises in every episode. Even though it’s only up to 61 episodes across two seasons and is still ongoing, i feel like this story truly leaves a deep emotional impact. Honestly, watching it feels like living alongside the characters themselves.
